ORCHID ANNOUNCE 2nd SONG SNIPPET
2012-08-20 - A snippet of the new song “Falling Away” by San Francisco-based doom rockers ORCHID is now available on YouTube at http://bit.ly/NX8rUA.
Vocalist Theo Mindell states:
“I had this dream of a kind of slightly medieval-sounding dark ballad sung by a man on his death bed who had sold his soul to the devil. Kind of a ‘Faust’ thing. This song was hard earned for us, but worth it. We tried to record it one time before and just couldn’t get it, but I think we really finally did. Definitely one of my faves on the EP.”
ORCHID’s Heretic EP will be available in North America on 10” vinyl in September. Track listing is:
