2001-03-28 - The Canadian Hyperblasters Kataklysm have just finished work on their new masterpiece "EPIC (The Poetry of War)". The recording of the album went very smoothly and the band was successful in capturing what they aimed for... The album was recorded at Victor studio. Production-wise, guitarist/producer J-F Dagenais did an excellent job once again, bringing the production a step higher than the critically acclaimed "The Prophecy" album.

Touring:
Kataklysm has confirmed a full Canadian tour in August w/QUO VADIS as support. There are talks about a July tour w/ VADER as well in the US, part of the "Summertime Slaughter" festivals... More details upon confirmation.

On other Kataklysm related subjects - The Infamous THE COALITION project is on hold (maybe permanently!) due to the hectic schedule of all people concerned + the lack of communication between Cryptopsy and KATAKLYSM. Due to the reasons previously stated, it is making THE COALITION close to impossible to take off the ground! So we will keep you updated if anything changes and we are sorry for the inconvenience... We wanted this cool project to happen too!

Kataklysm vocalist Maurizio Iacono will continue studio work this Spring on his solo project L.O.S.T. with his debut release "Living On Sympathy & Trust". Thrash-fulled anger!!!... Coming in 2002.
