The band has pulled out of the upcoming Marduk tour (originally postponed) after learning that their U.S. headlining tour got cancelled. Immensely disapointed with how
the touring system in the States is handling tours and bands,
"We got tired of the same ol' bullshit that happens here with all these hypocrites running the game now in the States, from the first tour with Incantation back in '95 to the
badly handled Destruction tour last year. They're all in for the fast buck and dont have any honor or respect anymore, so whats the point of wasting blood and sweat
here? It's been 10 years and we refuse to be manipulated like puppets, it's just not worth it anymore. We totally feel for our fans that want to see us in the US and our
homeland - you will be in our hearts and music forever"

Nevertheless, Kataklysm is in great shape with already some new material being written. Also their latest album "Epic (the Poetry of War)" keeps getting the best response
the band has ever obtained in their career, entering #3 on loud rock radio charts in Canada on its first week, right behind Slayer. Critics around the world are stating that
"Epic" has the best extreme Death Metal release of the year. Expect to see it in some top 10 lists of the year.

The band will continue it's promo campaign by returning to tour Europe for a second run of the old continent - the only territory the band is still willing to tour along some
world select shows.

Kataklysm will be performing on December 23rd in their home town of Montreal, the last Kataklysm gig in this side of the world for a very long time. Some more december
