Back home after cataclysmic devastation!!

Kataklysm is back home after another very successful European journey, where the band destroyed everything in its path and continued to increase their fanbase overseas. Kataklysm also had a very heart-warming experience at the New England festival where the massive pits and crazy headbangers made Kataklysm feel right at home.

NEW ALBUM!
The hardest working extreme unit is back in the kitchen cooking up what will be the band's most accomplished album. According to singer Maurizio Iacono, "since our US touring got cancelled last year with Marduk, we had some time on our hands and in between the 2 Euro.tours, we started working on new material. I've never seen Kataklysm being so at ease with writing. The ideas flow, the energy is there and the songwriting is beyond everything we have done before. The new album has big shoes to fill because of "Epic", but we are not worried at all. We are getting wiser and better with age and I'm proud of that. This new album which I have titled "Shadows & Dust" will be the logic continuation to "Epic". We are determined to make this scene shake with our next album and by the sounds of the new stuff, you guys better buckle up for the ride of your lifetime!!" Some new song titles for "Shadows & Dust" are as follows: "Where the Enemy sleeps", "Beyond Salvation", "Chronicles of the Damned", "Face the face of War", "Centuries (Beneath the Dark Waters)"... The band will begin recording with acclaimed guitarist/producer J-F Dagenais @ Victor Studios in May. "Shadows & Dust" is set to crush the world on Nov. 4th!

Kataklysm will start supporting their next album with an already confirmed European tour that will end with the X-Mas festivals...

In closing, the northern warriors are very excited and can't wait to make their 1st European festival appearance at WITH FULL FORCE on JULY 5th in Leipzig, Germany!
