2005-12-07 - Canadian death metallers KATAKLYSM will release their new album, &quot;In the Arms of Devastation&quot;, as a limited-edition double-disc featuring a bonus live DVD, entitled &quot;The End of Serenity: Live in Strasbourg&quot;. &quot;The DVD was professionaly filmed in France during the 'Serenity in Fire' touring campaign,&quot; the band write in a newsletter. &quot;Theres some pretty sick footage of fans ripping the place and the stage apart...crazy stuff.&quot;<br><br>As previously reported, a rough-mix version of a brand-new KATAKLYSM track, entitled &quot;Like Angels Weeping (The Dark)&quot;, has been posted online at <a href="http://www.myspace.com/kataklysm" target="_blank"><u>this</u></a> location. The song comes off the &quot;In the Arms of Devastation&quot;, due on February 24, 2006. The CD was mixed in Denmark by acclaimed producer Tue Madsen.<br><br>KATAKLYSM have tapped director Maurice Swinkels from LowlifeMedia (EXODUS, ABORTED, GOREFEST) to film the band's video for the track &quot;Crippled &amp; Broken&quot;, fom the upcoming album. The conceptual clip will be shot in Amsterdam, Netherlands in early March, shortly prior to the band's European co-headlining tour as part of the No Mercy festival.<br><br>KATAKLYSM have been confirmed for the &quot;Metal Crusaders&quot; North American tour, set to take place in May/June next year.
